Ferro
Ferro is a set of Rust-native rewrites of the JVM and Python data infrastructure most teams take for granted — search, streaming, orchestration, identity, package registries, log shipping, monitoring. Seven product repositories, on the order of 800,000 lines of own-code Rust, ~18,000 tests. One developer.
This site is the public face of that work. It hosts the launch notes, ongoing engineering posts, and a directory of the publicly published Rust crates that have been extracted from the ecosystem under Apache-2.0.
The full story of how it got here is in Building Ferro — the launch post.
