Ferro is a set of Rust-native rewrites of the JVM and Python data infrastructure most teams take for granted — search, streaming, orchestration, analytics, package registries, log shipping, monitoring. As of 2026-07-10 the product workspace measures 21 repositories, ~2.08M lines of Rust, 55K test annotations, 6,549 commits since 2026-03-31 — and five products live on AWS Marketplace (FerroSCA, FerroDruid, FerroStash, FerroAir, FerroRepo). One developer, orchestrating Claude Code under strict quality gates.

This site is the public face of that work. It hosts the development records of the publicly available products, the launch notes and engineering posts, and a directory of the publicly published Rust crates extracted from the ecosystem under Apache-2.0.

The full story of how it got here is in Building Ferro — the launch post.
